Missionary Vocation Encounter
In Jaen Peru, in the Apostolic Vicariate of St. Francis Xavier, the Crusader Missionary Sisters of the Church held a vocational meeting from January 4 to January 7, 2024. The young women participated in the different activities that were proposed in the meeting and were able to discover the vocation to which God is calling them and were trained to be animators of the Missionary Childhood in their parishes.
Nowadays many run away from assuming a commitment, from responding to God’s call, however, there are young people who are willing to leave everything and be followers of Jesus, living with joy their vocation to life and to be animators for the mission.
We had the presence of 13 young women, 12 of them came from the parish of San Juan Bautista de Chirinos and one young woman from Yamon – Amazonas.
This meeting was possible because of the team work we had with the parish priests, the MCI and the coordination of Missionary Childhood in the Vicariate.
