Formation meeting of the junior sisters
The junior sisters living in Spain had a formation meeting on the Ignatian keys, animated by Fr. Cristóbal Jiménez, SJ.
Discernment is a constant exercise in life, where everything can pass through this search for God’s will. The centre of the spirituality is Jesus, it is not a moment, but a way to see life with new eyes: gratitude, humour and compassion, trusting in others. Living with the past while trusting in the future. The examination of each day helps us to contemplate where God is passing through in the day.
One of the traits he highlighted was the awe of creation. And slowness, knowing that we have to take life without haste, giving ourselves time to pray, to consider… we are not saviours of the world, let’s not run!
To discern is to choose to live our existence “in the key of Jesus”.
