Punata Missionary Team (Cochabamba, Bolivia)

In the missionary month, like many missionaries, the itinerant mission team brought to life the call that God continually makes to all the baptised “Go and invite everyone to the banquet” (Mt 22, 9ss). We share the echoes of the experience of some missionaries who shared their faith with the brothers and sisters of Cochabamba – Punata (Bolivia):

  • “The mission is a comforting experience, it helped me to find myself… to put myself in the place of others and from their experience help them and transmit the Word of God to them. This mission has marked my path to follow in the future” (Hilda Rossy Condori Huanca).
  • “Knowing the lives of others changes our lives… the world is outside. Knowing other experiences, different situations of suffering and joy helps us to grow as people and spiritually. And this moves us to put ourselves at the service of others” (Elisa Ayllón).
  • “This mission has transcended my life. We often wonder why Jesus does not come to us? But why can’t we go to Him? Jesus is in ourselves, in the one who is next to us. He is waiting for us!” (Pablo Quispe Gomez).
