Nazaria Workshops 2024
I am Carlos Debán from the young missionary group and I wanted to tell you about my experience as a monitor in the Nazaria 2024 Workshops.
This has been my second year in it, and the truth is that it always ends up being a renewing and enriching experience for both sides, monitor and camper.
These workshops focus on the testimony of Mother Nazaria without cutting the thread of what Jesus says to each one of us.
This year as we set out on the road to the centenary celebration in 2025, the dynamics were focused on each of the stages of Nazaria’s life. A journey through stages such as her childhood, her adolescence and early roots in her vocation, her trip to Mexico… from there to each achievement in helping those most in need, the founding of the ICM Congregation and her work today.
Each stage was extrapolated to the day to day, to our environment (family, friends…), vital moments that have marked us and that have made us who we are, the future and the dreams to achieve.
Each day has given us a different vision of Nazaria from different perspectives.
We have also had moments of sharing, of disconnecting, of having fun on the beach, of celebrating improvised olympics until finishing with a barrage of water balloons, and ending the day with evening parties.
I want to mention that this year has been special because we have connected with the kids in difficult situations that were presented to us during the workshops. Through everyone’s cooperation and willingness we have
