XVI GENERAL CHAPTER

A retreat of discernment for the election, this time accompanied by Fr. Manuel Hurtado SJ, is the first step towards the appointment of the General Government. The chapter assembly has already drawn up the main lines of the general project which will govern the congregation in the future; in the light of this project, the sisters will look for the team which will carry it forward. For the election of the Superior General, a first survey is carried out, and the following day, the election will take place. For the councillors who will accompany her, the procedure is repeated one day later.

A momentous election that will mark the life of the congregation. A decision that must be preceded by the light of the Holy Spirit.
