Our faith makes us look at the world from the margins, engage with its pain and seek solutions for it. Manos Unidas is an example of this.

In 2023, and with the slogan “Stopping inequality is in your hands”, the NGO of the Catholic Church, as a continuation of its fight to eradicate hunger and poverty in the world, approved 550 new development projects in America, Africa and Asia, for an amount of more than 40 million euros – six million more than in 2022. The budget for initiatives in the ‘human rights and civil society’ sector, which focuses on the rights of children, refugees and migrants and peacebuilding, among others, increased by 45%.
