Canonical visit to the community of Bamendjou, Cameroon
Our general superior, Mother Maria Joaquina Lozano, accompanied by the Councillor for Formation, Br. Delia Baez, made a canonical visit to the community of Bamendjou, situated in the mountainous West of the country.
In this community there are two main missions: vocational and secondary education, and health care for the population in a dispensary. The evangelisation that takes place in both institutions responds to the ecclesial needs that the bishops asked of religious life at the time and which are still pressing today.
During the visit, it was possible to see with joy the dedication and devotion that the sisters and the work teams have for the young and the sick. With them, and in spite of the difficulties, we say: ‘Forward, always forward’
