Mysticism and politics, faith and commitment. As a novice, the Jesuit father who guided us in a session, asked me what Jesus did I believe in. After overcoming the surprise, I was throwing book answers, which were rejected by him. Until I heard my confession emerging from the center of my experience: « I believe in the Jesus of women and children. »
The encounter with Jesus inevitably translates into commitment and service. Or it is not the encounter with the God of Love.
The years have passed, the understanding and questions of my faith, too. And every day we are called to live the response that the Lord directs us: « And you, who do you say that I am? »
