SAINT NAZARIA IGNACIA.

The congratulations came from one place and another: the entire Obra Total was celebrating it. The mass of Fr. Julián Nicolás, a priest friend of the charism, to the older sisters in Granada. Joint prayers in the various communities. Mass with the participation of all identities in the General House. Eucharists celebrated in our presences.

To this joy were added two others.

On the one hand, the renewal of vows of junior sisters who once again say yes to having the Gospel as the center of their lives. Passionate for Christ and for humanity: H. Silvarany, in India; H. Mercy, in Cameroon and H. Gisèlle, in the Congo.

On the other, the presence of the Mother General in the house of older sisters in Cochabamba, Bolivia. Celebrate with those simple and brave women, with a faithful and kind heart who gave continuity to the dream of Nazaria Ignacia. In the homily at Mass, we were reminded that we have a mission of mercy, based on two pillars: being deeply in love with Christ and passionate about humanity.

We celebrate by remembering a life that summons us and provokes us, that of Saint Nazaria, who seems to repeat to us in these moments: “there is always more on the lips when there is love”.
