Anniversary of the canonization of Santa Nazaria Ignacia.

To all the Obra Total

Dear family:

Today we celebrate the 3rd anniversary of the recognition of the sanctity of M. Nazaria Ignacia. God has wanted this day to be forever linked to the month of October, missionary month par excellence.

As whole project we continue to have the challenge of evangelization as a continuous rereading of the Word from concrete reality, so that it really becomes Word of Life in our environment. To recover with all its dynamism and strength our most beautiful mission, to make known to man the message of God. Therefore, we cannot remain silent, we must announce, we must tell the Good News of his love, of his ever merciful presence.

Each one of us must also be in all that incarnate Word of God, which is what can transform, create, redeem the face of the earth (N.I). To be the Word of God that becomes flesh, that becomes a gesture, that becomes, in turn, a word.

Good, constructive and opportune

Saint Paul in his letter to the Ephesians asks them: “… whatever you say be good, constructive and opportune, so it will do good to those who hear it” (Eph. 4:29).

  • Good. Announcing and telling what we have seen and heard requires transmitting all the good that we have received from God, revealing all the good that we discover in the world, talking about all the good that He has put in the people with whom we interact.
  • Constructuve. Announcing and telling what we have seen and heard supposes helping to build, that our words encourage and encourage others to grow, to give their best, to join forces, to build bridges, to open paths of forgiveness, to get closer to who needs them.
  • Opportune. Announcing and telling what we have seen and heard happens, not only by looking for the opportune moment to express our faith, but it also supposes “letting ourselves be found” at those opportune moments, in which we are given the possibility of communicating our experience about Him. who we believe in and who gives meaning to our lives.

May Saint Nazaria Ignacia intercede for us, so that we are able to create something new, to transform our closest world into a place where the Gospel is truly lived, where our commitment shows that the Kingdom of God is already possible on earth.

A fraternal hug. Mª Joaquina Lozano López, General Superior
