Jesus of Nazareth.
Is it possible to doubt the provocative character of the faith of that man, Jew, secular and Galilean? Can one doubt the provocative identity of the fundamental choice of that man who dares to speak about all this in the religious place of the Jewish synagogue, as he had already done in the temple in Jerusalem (Jn 2, 13-25 and ch. 9)?
This scandalous teaching of Jesus will be visualized in the gesture of the farewell dinner and in the words so precise and clear that they do not allow manipulation. The gesture is to wash the feet, that is, to catch up with the lowest. And the ratifying words: “By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another” (Jn 13).
How do you live it in your environment?
