To have the heart of an apostle, full of love for the Creator and gratitude for life. A heart that humbly accepts its own history and what it has learned from it. Intimacy that knows it is inhabited by the Spirit of life, which leads to more and more love.
Having the heart of an apostle, a brother to others; reconciled with diversity and grateful for the richness it brings. Knowing that conflicts are an expression of plurality and that they are reconciled with patient dialogue. A heart that seeks harmony.
It is that which seeks the Kingdom in the midst of the suffering masses, which seeks justice in relationships; which, although it touches politicians, shouts with placards are a gesture of the Kingdom. Who speaks for those who cannot. Who brings the Gospel wherever he is… to find that the Word smiles at him in the eyes of others.
