Here we continue dreaming, as our Mother would, that each girl and young be themselves, that they express themselves in every detail.
HOW TO DESCRIBE OUR DAY TO THEM?
Our day begins by thanking God for so much well received. We are organized so that together we can take care of the house and collaborate in daily tasks. We have equipment for cooking, cleaning and caring for our little garden.
This year of only having four computers and not having the necessary implements, we had the joy of receiving the equipment and installation of everything necessary so that our classes did not have any setbacks. We thank many people who were involved in this, since we can all work online and have what we need, especially the small ones.
Our teachers have supported us. Most of our time is devoted to study with dedication and responsibility. In elementary school we are 11, secondary 7 and two university students – business administration and communication sciences.
The Guatemalan Olympic Foundation has sent a Taekuondo teacher. Therefore, we can exercise our body and also value the human training that is included in this sport. In our rest time we have improved in reading.
In the small chapel, every afternoon, we come together to thank God for everyone.
WE THANK EVERYONE FOR BELIEVING IN THIS MISSION.
They are 36 years of loving and serving and today giving thanks to God. We all come from very different realities. Most of Petén -the border region to Mexico-, Baja Verapaz, Rabinal, Santa Rosa and the marginal areas of the capital of Guatemala.
There have been many girls and young people who have passed through here today, they are mothers of families, they work and are grateful for everything that they received at the Home. Behind all this is the effort of each one of the Missionary Sisters of the Church. Day by day they watch over our integral formation that includes good nutrition and accompaniment. Everyone is welcome if they like to meet and support us! From Guatemala receive our prayer and affection.
