Ethics in the Age of Disruptive Technologies: An Operational Roadmap” is a document that provides ethical concepts and frameworks, intended for organisations to apply their own standards in management and legal measures.
Its starting point is Bishop Paul Tighe’s meetings and dialogues with senior representatives of Silicon Valley, especially those working in the field of artificial intelligence and machine learning. In these, their desire to maintain high ethical standards for themselves and their industry was evident. This is already clear in the number of initiatives that seek to ensure that technology is “in the service of humanity”, “for good”, “human-centred”, “ethical by design” and “open”.
