THE AFFIRMATION OF LIFE.
What seems incredible is real: a sport with levels of self-demand, with a body that has limited capacities. It is one more example that suffering and decline do not have the last word. It supposes the constancy of the incredible spirit of human improvement.
There are those who were born with a disability. Or those to whom illness, accident or violence imposed a slab that was very difficult to lift.
Their effort and their overcoming remind us that the limits in our life are not to be broken or to paralyze us. They are to be lucidly accepted and to be stretched in such a way that weakness and suffering become spaces for growth. Their stories are windows to believe in the future and, why not, to make us a little better.
