The end of the year invites us to read this period of time. A flash back to become aware of how we are and with whom; and, above all, asking God to accompany us to watch these months with us.
Read back to thank so much well received, because, in the midst of so much darkness, we have been given light, strength, love, life. So many opportunities to grow and serve. And so many services that others have done, making us an object of care and affection, or better yet, collaborators of their actions.
Look with the heart, recognizing the fragility and limits that invite us to ask for forgiveness. For misunderstandings and selfishness; by inertia and hopelessness; for the aggressiveness expressed and the injustice done; for pride and victimhood.
And with humility, ask what we need to start a new period of our life: greater patience to accept the rhythms of others; humility that makes us see ourselves with a cordial and real look; courage to denounce the unjust; generous commitment to fight for the causes of humanity; illusion and good humor to embrace the limits. Remembering that God is with us.
