FORMOSA (Argentina).
I met the WEB Sanar in Buenos Aires, in 2016. An organization that, inspired by the parable of the Good Samaritan, has the mission of helping the mentally wounded and psychoeducating them. That is, give him tools so he can stand up.
I loved his comprehensive look, which conceives the person in six dimensions: physical, emotional, mental, social, value and spiritual. In the desire to help, I trained and began to be part of this great volunteer, although the first beneficiary was me.
In 2018 we launched it in Formosa, considering it an important contribution to so many mental health problems. Anxiety, panic, depression, suicides, and little assistance and information. Today, after the pandemic, the confinement and so many duels, this scenario has worsened.
The Red Sanar consists of 4 quarterly workshops. The weekly workshops are free and ecumenical, where life is shared, learning is done through content and mutual listening. They point to self-knowledge, information, better communication with oneself, with others and with transcendence.
It is nice to perceive every Tuesday how the house is filled with joy, which arises from people who “come out of their prostration”, improve their relationships and recognize their dignity.
