Glory to God in the highest, on earth to men peace! What pure joy, full of rejoicing … Jesus was born for us and by us. Therefore, since love is paid with love, we must live for Him and by Him. It is a highly logical conclusion of love.
To live for Him, without complaining, without showing fatigue from difficult trades or occupations, heavy on self-love, expensive on nature. To live by Him, having no more concern, seeing my tender little brother done to please him, keeping him happy without worrying about looking for my satisfactions or likings in anything. In Him, this must now and always be my great mystical dream, the incorporation with I not live in me, but in Christ.
