Epiphany: God manifests Himself. What joy to think that God has a deep longing to make himself known! This attitude is essential in deep relationships: revealing what I am to the other, welcoming – in turn – what the other gives me. Epiphany invites us to review our relationships. The one we have with God and the one we have with others.

There are essential elements. It is essential to look up, to meet our eyes. The deep questions to share our inner voice are essentials. So it is the prudent distance so as not to bother us, but also the trusting closeness to connect and accompany us. Essential is calm to receive us without haste, and detachment to let go, without ambition. Essential is faith in God who not only donates, but “gives Himself”, and therefore it is time to receive Him.
