REBOOTING IN PASTORAL.

The pastoral project of our centers marks two aspects that should guide our school life: accompany the personal experience of each student by listening to their vital moment and knowing that our work is missionary.

Accompanying this personal experience is one of the tasks that is done in schools, in a silent, close way … Pastoral of the patio, from the hallway, from table to table.

It is a difficult task when students arrive with ignorance of God, with believing families, students coming and going from everything…. Hence our important work to show a close and living face of that God of Love. Of course it is not an easy task to reach them, but ALWAYS FORWARD.

We also have the mission of “convincing” colleagues of the importance of pastoral care as the primary axis or backbone of the centers, because educating goes beyond knowledge. Educating is also developing the spiritual competence or better the spiritual dimension of our students, whether they are believers or not. Accompanying in these dimensions is essential for the comprehensive education of the person who is presented to us in our Center Educational Projects.

I believe that, in this year, where our motto is “REBOOT”, we have a great opportunity to return to the origins, to the illusion, to think that we can give a real boost to the pastoral care of our centers, with teamwork, where we accompany and feel accompanied.

In the words of Nazaria Ignacia: “this is our most beautiful mission: to make man known, the God who loves us”. Well, this is our pastoral mission.

Forward always forward!

Nazaria Ignacia
